Bryan Tan

Bryan is a passionate Mechanical Engineer that has grown his career from manufacturing, process improvement, research & development and project engineering. He has been engaged and focused in the delivery of vertical transport for one of the largest global elevator companies. His project involvement includes residential, commercial and metro portfolios. He has worked with sales and installation team to ensure that the project specification, budget and lead time are in line with the clients' expectations. Bryan is a member of the institute of Engineer Australia, registered professional engineer under the National Engineering Register (NER), Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and a member of Australian Elevator Association (AEA) technical steering committee. With his experience and engineering exposure, he is a key member of Elevator Project Management leading the Queensland operations. His focus includes the valuation of existing asset condition, rating of contractor performance and recommendation of asset improvement & maintenance to ensure that property teams are the delivering the best customer experience to their tenants.

Nicole Maravilla

Nicole is a Civil Engineering graduate with a strong foundation in traffic studies and design coordination. She is poised to make a significant impact on the vertical transport industry. Her enthusiasm is fuelled by a desire to actively contribute fresh insights and a passion for innovation.

Nicole aims to delve into the intricacies of vertical transportation design, analysis, auditing, and project management within the collaborative and dynamic environment at EPM. It is here that she seeks to deepen her knowledge and skills, driven by the shared commitment to excellence.

Mark Grogan

Mark was awarded the apprentice of the year in Victoria as he started his career in the lift industry in 1989. By the late 1990s, Mark was managing the Melbourne CBD service operations, one of the most dynamic operations in Australia.

Mark’s career took a change of direction from 2004 as he moved into a customer focus role, providing support and guidance with his extensive technical knowledge, promoting new lift installations across regional Victoria and working with high profile customers and complex equipment in Melbourne CBD.

Mark has been active across all level of the service business. He has led in a fast and dynamic Melbourne CBD service operations, he has built a small regional Victoria business into a dominate market leader. In recent years, Mark was actively involved in a coaching and mentoring role where he was needed with a large team of managers and technicians.

Outside of his professional life, he is an active contributor in the sport of karate supporting and co-ordinating youth events across Australia and overseas as Team Manager. He also continues to be a Director of a prominent regional Victorian cricket association and recently was appointed as Chairman of the Relay For Life Committee.

With extensive VT knowledge and experience across a large portfolio of lift equipment and strong customer focus approach, he is the perfect candidate to support our client in all VT consultancy needs in Victoria.

Kristy Hunter

Kristy is an elevator and escalator technician and a recent addition to the EPM team. She brings a dedication to ensuring safety and reliability in the industry.

Starting her career as an apprentice electrical fitter/mechanic in the West Australian Railways, Kristy then moved into the vertical transportation industry in her final year of training in 1996. Since then, Kristy has held positions in all field aspects of the industry, including installation, modernisation, electrical drafting and servicing. Kristy’s passion for delivering attentive customer service awarded her Schindler’s, WA Existing Installations Field Technician of the year in 2020 and Runner up for Schindler’s, Australian Customer Excellence Award 2020.

Kristy is a licensed A grade Electrician, ACRS Master Cabler and holds a National Elevator and Escalator Certification from RMIT. When not at work, if her nose is not buried in a book, Kristy will be found hanging out at home with her husband and two sons.

Troy Chu

Troy is a professional Mechanical Engineer who is driven and passionate about the vertical transportation industry. For the past 5 years, he has worked for the major global elevator and escalator companies to deliver excellence in vertical transportation design.

He is a team player always seeking to find a better solution to assist with supporting the customer needs and ensuring the EPM systems and processes are innovative and efficient. Troy has worked closely with sales and installations teams understanding the end-to-end process and finding solutions for all the technical difficulties.

His primary focus with EPM is to provide innovative design solutions for large shopping centres, office, and industrial buildings. He will be working on our major Modernisation and New build projects.

Troy holds the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and automation, Master of Mechanical Engineering Science and a Master of Manufacturing and Management. When he is not studying, he enjoys playing soccer and watching movies.

Robert Russo

Robert is a technical specialist who has worked with one of the largest global elevator companies, Kone Elevators in various roles.

Commencing his career as an apprentice electrical fitter mechanic, Robert has worked his way up to become a leading expert in vertical transportation on and off the field in all areas of elevator equipment.

Robert notably worked on many of Brisbane’s prestige CBD high-rise buildings; was the head technician for some of Brisbane’s largest hospitals, many of Queensland’s major shopping centres, retail precincts and apartment buildings.

In addition to Robert’s extensive fieldwork, he has held various other roles in the sector. Robert has been an engaging customer service representative providing technical support to facilities managers and building owners and generated successful outcomes for his customers in his role as a sales engineer with the modernisation department.

Away from work, Robert is a motorsport enthusiast, loves camping and the great outdoors and spending quality time with his family.

Robert’s passion and commitment to the elevator industry is evident.  With over 32 years’ experience, he is ready to collaborate and create solutions to achieve optimum success with your project goals and requirements.

Alysha Simpson

Alysha's career journey is marked by significant achievements across various sectors. Most recently, as a Project Manager at an Multidisciplinary Engineering Firm, she managed critical infrastructure projects across multiple commercial buildings in Brisbane CBD, liaised with local authorities and diverse stakeholders. Her role involved comprehensive oversight from feasibility to handover, cost control, contract management, safety, risk management, and business development.

Prior to this, Alysha served as a Senior Facilities Manager for Knight Frank’s SCA Portfolio, overseeing 42 retail properties across Northern NSW and QLD. She managed a team of facilities managers and handled complex property issues, acquisitions, and essential services liaising.

Alysha’s extensive tenure with The GPT Group saw her excel in various roles, including Operations Supervisor for the QLD Logistics Portfolio and Property Services Supervisor at premium office locations. She demonstrated her capabilities in contract management, tenant relations, project delivery, budget setting, and compliance with statutory authorities.

Alysha's diverse experience, combined with her ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver successful projects, makes her an exceptional fit for our organisation. We are confident that her expertise and proactive approach will be invaluable to our team.

Andrew Packness

Andrew has always been an energetic contributor to the lift industry with a career spanning over 30 years. 

Receiving awards with Elevator Pty Ltd (EPL) Australia for both the Lift Manufacturer’s Association of Australia and Lend Lease’s Apprentice of the Year in 1989. His technical and collaborative skills were instrumental with Australian pilot developments of KONE’s V3F gearless drives and the TMS9000 Traffic Forecaster AI.

Andrew’s pragmatic approach in the field and genuine customer empathy made him a core member of the KONE management team. He has been in several senior roles including Modernisation Manager for Queensland, Service Manager for Western Australia, General Manager for Sydney CBD and National Service Business Development Manager.

Andrew naturally progressed into a Senior Management position with a consulting engineers firm, working extensively in the built environment with maintenance tendering and major modernisations.

As co-founder of Elevator Project Management Andrew continues to bring his contagious enthusiasm to drive the vertical transportation industry to new limits. Andrew is an industry trained Electrical Fitter Mechanic and holds an Advance Diploma in Applied Electrical Engineering and is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, Australian Elevator Association (AEA) technical steering committee and Lift Engineering Society of Australia NSW.

Evan Chin

Evan has been an active contributor throughout his career as a Mechanical Engineer for one of the largest global elevator and escalator companies. 

He is passionate in problem solving and project planning where he continues to develop as a recognised professional engineer in the VT industry. Throughout his engineering career, he has been working with sales, installation teams and customers with all technical enquiries, lift design and engineering, product quality control and providing code compliance advice. 

Evan is a member of the institute of Engineer Australia, registered professional engineer under the National Engineering Register (NER) and the Australian Elevator Association technical steering committee (AEA), his technical engineering skills have made him a key member of Elevator Project Management specialising in lift and escalator design, traffic simulations and all Australian and European lift code compliance.

Bernard Hu

Bernard has over 12 years of experience in commercial (PCA Premium Grade & A-Grade), infrastructure (airport, stadium, hospital) and residential (high-rise) projects focusing on project management and consultancy in the Vertical Transportation industry across Australia and South East Asia. 

He has vast site knowledge and technical skills in elevator and escalator requirements, enabling him to design, plan and collaborate with all stakeholders. In addition, Bernard has the skill to identify project opportunities, manage and mitigate risks, and provide value engineering solutions with a customer-centric focus mindset. This has made him an essential key person in Elevator Project Management, ensuring the project objectives are accomplished within the agreed project scope, schedule and budget.

Bernard holds a Bachelor's Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is a Registered VT Design Practitioner, Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) in Project Management, Building Services and Electrical, a registered professional engineer under the National Engineering Register (NER), Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland (RPEQ) and a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), Lift Engineering Society of Australia (LESA) and Australia Elevator Association (AEA).

Ian Rapley

Ian has always had passion for the lift industry which has only grown stronger over the 29 years when he followed his father’s footsteps joining KONE Lifts in the UK in 1988. 

Since then Ian has grown his industry experience through his successful progression from field based roles to senior management.

Before transferring to a major lift company in Australia in 1998 Ian instigated and developed the National Maintenance Repairs Quotation Tool and was moved into the role of National Quotations Controller and progressed to launched and head up the National Modular Modernisation System.

Once in Australia Ian’s skills were quickly recognised and he was promoted to Service Manager for North Sydney CBD before being selected to relocate to Western Australia in the capacity of Service Operations Manager which led to his promotion to Service Manager for Western Australia.

Ian’s record of driving successful outcomes and customer satisfaction has been the result of many years’ experience in man management and customer based roles.

Ian continued his professional development as State Manager for a consulting engineering firm in Western Australia, working extensively in the built environment with maintenance tendering, major modernisations and developed further skills and tools in performance based contract management, based on his recognition of client needs in this area.  Ian has now been appointed by the Partners of Elevator Project Management as Director for Western Australia.

Louisa Xing

I hold a master’s degree in accounting and finance from The University of Adelaide and have built a 9-year career in finance with a global leader in elevator and escalator company. My professional journey encompasses diverse roles in both finance and business controlling, fostering a deep appreciation for the dynamic industry of vertical transportation.

 My extensive experience has equipped me with a profound understanding of financial systems, a strategic problem-solving acumen, and a customer-centric mindset. I've refined my collaborative skills by working across various departments, developing and implementing financial strategies that optimise resources, mitigate risks and directly contribute to client benefits.

 My primary objective is to collaborate with my colleagues to ensure that our financial operations align the efficiency and effectiveness of our groundbreaking solutions. I am committed to enhancing financial transparency, streamlining processes and supporting EPM’s mission of delivering lift consultancy and project management services through our innovation and collaboration.

 Beyond the professional realm, I find solace and inspiration in two intertwined passions: travel and photography. These pursuits offer me the perfect blend of adventure and artistic expression, ensuring that my spare time is filled with both exploration and creative capture.

Alex Lee

Alex has been active in the elevator industry for more than 19 years, in various Asia Pacific and Australian roles with one of the largest elevator and escalator company globally and is currently leading a consultancy and project management firm in Australasia. 

During this time, Alex has been active across all levels of the new elevator and modernisation business units and been involved in the execution of many unique and complex high rise buildings and centres. He has led in fast growing multicultural environments and is considered one of the top operational leaders globally in this field.

Alex has spent the past few years evangelising an industry shift to intelligent building and has successfully completed many modernisation projects across Australasia and helped building owners seeking world-class lift solutions for their expanding portfolio of vertical transportation equipment.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering and a Master of Construction Management. He is also a licence holder in the security industry that are crucial when providing advice on security system and integrations. He is a former Regional Operations Director with KONE in Asia Pacific and Middle East.

Alex is a professional Fellow member of the institution of Engineers, Australia. He is also an registered Chartered Professional Engineer and has been recognised as Engineering Executive for working at the highest level in the industry. Alex is also a professional member of the Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE) and Institution of Engineers, Australia.
